Fathers - Words of Advice from Scripture

The job of a father is often a difficult job.  Men have labored for generations to support their families.  Men of honor alway do right by their loved ones.  One of the main parental guide lines that I feel is important, is that the mouth can be a double edged sword.  We can choose bless our children with our words or we can curse them.

 
When you bless your children, you are lifting them up to greatness.  When you curse your children - you have cursed them through generations. When I say curse I mean: 

 

• Demeaning
  • Putting down
  • Telling them they will never amount to anything
  • Abuse in all its forms.
     
    They may not do well and may find it difficult in this world.  According to scripture it's a fathers responsibility to make sure that his children are taught the word of god.  Teach them in the way that they should know. 

 

Proverbs 22:66.  

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

  

Your children may stray for a time.  But if you teach them the word of God.  They will return.

 

Colossians 3:21
21. Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.
Don't anger you children.  Reason with them.  Treat them as though you were speaking to an adult if they are teenagers.  Respect each other.  Agree to disagree on some points.  Stay quite and listen to your children.  Then offer advice.

 
Ephesians 6:4
4. And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.  (training and instruction of the lord)
Nurture them and be patient with them.  Especially teenagers.

 

Psalm 78:4
^4. We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.

 
Though your examples and teachings your children can teach by example their own children for generations.

 
Colossians 3:19
Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them.

 

Your children should see you hugging and being affectionate with your wives.  They learn by example.
 

Psalm 5:7
^7. But I, by your great mercy, will come into your house;in reverence will I bow down toward your holy temple.

 

We must also teach our children to show reverence in the house of the lord

 
Letter to our children:
Today's world is very tough.  You have to worry about drugs, being beaten, gangs, being shot and HIV and death at an early age and the loss of many friends.  This is our society.  And these things are happening in our schools today; where you should feel safe.  

 

Parents - We must guide our kids in the way that they should go.  Be diligent in our prayers for their protection. Sit down and really listen to your children.  Don't say a word until they are done.  Try to understand what they are feeling.  Respect them and they will respect you.  If they get angry.  Tell them to take a walk and when they cool down.  Reason with one another.  Forgive each other and show each other that you love one another.

 

( I know this is difficult.  I have had my troubles and am not perfect.  I keep trying anyway.  I may fall from time to time, but I don't give up.)

 

 
Colossians 3:20
^20. Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.

 
2 Timothy 1:7, 8 7. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (fear) but a spirit of power of love, and self discipline 8. So do not be ashamed to testify about the lord.

1. You then my son be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
 

2 Timothy 2:22Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace along with those who call on the lord out of pure heart.

 
Hebrews 11:66. And with out faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exits and he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

 
Matthew 6:33
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

 
Lastly Galatians 5:22
But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patient, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control. Against such things there is  no law

 

There will always be temptation.  If the devil can rob you of everything good god has planned for you; he will.  He will tempt you and hurt you, and take away you beloved families.  Because he is a deceiver and a liar.  Be godly men, Be God fearing, be compassionate, be giving and forgiving.  Do no evil; neither be lovers of evil.  They will only be cut off at the shaft.

  
Heavenly Father bless these men; their wife and their children.  Let your will be done through them always.  Send your angels to surround and protect them so that not one hair on their heads be harmed.  Send someone to minister to their children and to their fathers.  Let them be great men of God, Let them be great fathers, great husbands, great daughters; loving and giving of themselves before others.

 
Let your will be done always in Jesus name I pray.  And I claim victory over all evil and malice.  For I put my trust in the hands of God, my Jehovah, my Yaweh.   

 

Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit says the Lord Almighty.  I claim it done.  Amen

 
It is never to late to make things right.

Is December 21 2012 The End?

December 21, 2012 seems to be on the minds of many people across the globe.  Although I don't believe that it will be the end of the world; I have many reasons for my belief.  First of all, this information is due to the fact the the Mayan Calendar ended on that date.  All we know is  that the Mayans suddenly disappeared.  There is no evidence as to what could have happened to the Mayans.  Which has caused concern among some scientist.  

My view is this. So the Mayans disappeared from the pyramid sites, but the people still live today.  How do we know that the original Mayans of that day, for whatever reason, were likely killed by another group. 

 Whose to say that maybe they just left.  And that's probably why Mayans stopped working on the calendar.  On the positive side.  The Mayan calendar shows a serpent eating it's tail.  Which is indicative of a NEW BEGINNING or NEW ERA.  It was shedding the old and starting new.   

According to Wikipedia the Mayans were pre-columbia known for art, architecture, mathematical, and astronomical systems. And to make things clear, the Mayans never disappeared.  Today the Maya represent a large population of pre-columbia and post qonquistadores.

I agree that many of the signs indicated in scripture are being seen by everyone today.  Jesus warned about such events like, quakes in divers places, wars and rumors of wars.   But he said Do not dismay, for the time is not nigh.  He warned us of a false prophet who would come and deceive many even his elect. 



Matthew 4-8
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5) For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6) And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7) For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8) All of these are the beginning of sorrows

I have not seen any such prophet and a prophet that has performed miracles or an image that walks and talks and forces us to worship the image.  Yes, we are at the beginning of sorrows and the beginning of a new era.  This is why I believe this year is not the end. But the false prophet is the key.  He will show up and then the beast will rule the world.  He will begin a one world order.  He will be a hero in the beginning he may even bring about peace throughout the world.  Adored by all.  But this man is the anti-christ.  Remember when he rebuilds an ancient temple and declares himself a God or God, then the end will come.

That is not to say that we should not prepare ourselves for the end of days.  There are tough times ahead.  But remember WHEN PEACE HAS BEEN BROUGHT THROUGHOUT THE WORLD; then tremble.  Because that is when the end will come.  According to scripture, we will have seven years of peace and then the end will come.  

There are people as of today that are preparing themselves for such a day.  They buy in bulk  canned items and use the older food first.  They grow their own food and raise animals.  Some are even prepared to use deadly force.   So, should you prepare for such a day?  The answer is definitely yes.  Some of these people who have military background predict that their will be chaos within four days.  Due to the fact that many cities will not be able to import or export food, water, and clothing. 

Matthew 24,15-22  (This is after the appearance of the false prophet and anti-christ)
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place ( whoso readeth, let him understand:- The rebuilt temple) 16) Then let them which be in Judae'-a flee into the mountains:  17) let him which is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house: 18) Neitther let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. 19) And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 20) But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: 21) For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, nor, nor ever shall be  ( This day will be a great and terrible day for all and will not occur again)  22) And except those days be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Then immediately after the tribulation - (The Rapture) The sun nor the moon will give light (Matthew 24: 15 -30) and the stars will fall from  heaven and the powers of heaven shall be shaken.  Then we will see sign that Jesus is coming and everyone around the world will mourn.  We will visually see him coming out of the clouds with great power and glory.  We will hear a great trumpet sound.  Then the angels will gather Gods people from the north, south, east and west.  Then there will be two and one will disappear.  You will blink and one person will be gone. That fast.

So prepare yourself in faith, honor and wisdom.  Follow the ten commandments and do no evil.  Everything we do in secret will be revealed before the world for all to see.  No, it's not the end, but the beginning of a New Era.  Something big IS coming and what that will be remains unseen.  It could be the coming of the anti-christ or the tribulation.  Either way we have to prepare ourselves and our families.  Don't be afraid because if your are right with God, you will be protected.  

The Anti-Christ will mark people that follow him IN their right hand and or on their foreheads.  We know that today this is possible.  There is a microchip the size of a grain of rice and another the size of a grain of salt, capable of carrying all of your personal information.  There are people in Barcelona Spain, Netherlands and Scotland to name a few are already implanting patrons with a chip. Then read, "Riding The Beast." - http://www.ridingthebeast.com/articles/verichip-implant/.  God will place his seal on you and your loved ones.  Because, when you are God fearing then so are the rest as written in Corinthians.  "A Christian person always prays for their loved ones, so their family members are protected.  That doesn't mean you should go out there and do things that you know are hurtful and cruel, thinking your going to be forgiven.  First you must ask for forgiveness.  Then you MUST believe that Jesus is the son of God and is returning with his holy angels.  He will descend from heaven like he ascended. He will not be born of a woman.  So watch out for false prophets claiming to be the risen Jesus.  Don't believe all the hype about zombies.  When Jesus brought Lazarus back from the dead, he was whole.  Meaning complete and healthy.  Not decrepit or rotting even though he was dead for three days. That's just another lie of devil.  Remember the devil is the father of lies.  Coming to deceive and destroy.  

Continue to minister to your family and pray that when he comes he finds us doing that which is good and righteous on the earth.

Beware Of False Prophets

Unfortunately there will always be a false prophets.  Be careful of those claiming to be a prophet.  They claim that they can heal, discern, and rebuke demons.  Scripture dictates that we must test them.  The churches or people claiming to be Christians and men/women of God.


Also in the last days there will be many people that will listen to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils.  The apostle Paul declared this in Timothy 4:1


BE NOT DECEIVED:  Revelations 16:14 
For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.


These people who have international notoriety.  That's how they will deceive so many people, even Gods elect.  They are preparing for the battle with God himself and Jesus. These people will cause the beheadings of many innocents for testifying about Jesus Christ and for the word of God.


Revelations 20:4
4. And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.


Deuteronomy 12:1-4

1. If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, 
2. And the sign or the wonder come to pass whereof he spake unto thee, saying, let us go after other gods, which thou has not known, and let us serve them; 
3. Though shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the Lord your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.  
4. Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him. 

WARNING

Deuteronomy 16
And thou shalt consume all the people which the Lord God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them: neither shalt thou serve their gods; for that will be a snare unto thee.

These people will surly deceive many.  They will talk of dreams and divination.  They may even show you a great sign or miracle.  They will snare you with their false doctrine and lies.  Satan is called the father of lies. Therefore we must be careful of the doctrine we listen to.  If someone is asking you to give more then your 10% in tithing. Question the doctrine.  If they are not preaching about the end of days; questions the doctrine.  If they are proclaiming to heal in the name of Jesus.  But something inside keeps telling you to be careful.  Then question the doctrine/teachings.  Don't take everyone's word.  Study scripture for yourself and see for yourself.  Open the book and study the chapters.  Mainly follow the Ten Commandments.  Study the book of Matthew from beginning to end.  But remember we have all sinned and come short of the glory of god.  There is no sin that cannot be forgiven except the killing/murder of a child. 

One of the things Jesus said after he healed or forgave someone of sin is Tell no one.  And do it no more.  A truly repentant person will stop doing the thing that is against biblical teachings.  We won't always get it right the first time, but keep trying anyway.

Matthew 24:11-15

11. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

12. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

13. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

14. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

15. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

We cannot be lukewarm.  We have to choose now, before it's too late.

Revelations 

16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Jeremiah 14:14

Then the Lord said unto me, I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them:  they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, a thing nought, And the deceit of their heart.

Scripture tells us that God or Jesus is not speaking to these people.  It is false. And the only thing in their heart is deceit.

Matthew 7:22-23
22. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works?
23. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity

A Great False Prophet to Come

Scripture tells us that there will be  a great false prophet who will attain his power through the dragon/devil.  He is called the beast in the book of Revelations.

Revelations 13:4-18  (re-cap)

People will idolize this man. They will say that no one can defeat him in battle.  He will be given the power to speak great things and blasphemies. He will reign for Forty two months; which is about two and a half years. He will blaspheme Gods name and against god.  He will blaspheme against Gods tabernacle/church and also those that dwell in heaven.  

He will be given the power to fight with saints and beat them. He will be able to communicate with the people around the world.  And everyone on the earth will worship him - those whose name will not appear in the book of life.  This man will sustain a deadly wound that will heal.  

There will be a second beast (false prophet or man of great power)  

He will also do great things.  He will make fire come down from heaven on the earth for mankind to see.  He will deceive many on the earth by means of those miracles.  He will command that an image of him should be made which will bear the wound of the first beast who survived. The second beast will have the power to command the image to speak and command that anyone who does not worship the image shall be killed.

He will command that small and great, rich and poor, free and imprisoned, to receive a mark IN their RIGHT HAND, or their FOREHEADS:  (Google Verichip Technologies)

Gods Promise To US

In Matthew 24, God reminds us to be strong and patient. Don't be afraid but be still.  Know that he is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.  

I hope that I have been able to clarify some questions for you.  I know that being a christian or walking with God is hard.  It's hard because we are human and we will inevitably fall. 

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotton son, that so whomever believeth in him shall not perish but have ever lasting life.  

For all have come short of the glory of God. (We all sin.)

You will not be saved just based on your good works on the earth. You must also have faith.  Pray and believe that it will be done.  And claim it done.  Claim victory for your family. Bless your children with your words.  Tell them they will succeed, they can achieve, they are smart and strong. Do the same for all those you love.  Your spouse and friends.

I know that this is very hard indeed.  I have my cross to bear. But I don't give up.  I pray about it and I ask god to forgive me and forgive others.  I ask him to teach me to be a better christian.  It is a daily battle for me.  Sometimes I fall, but then I get right up and try try again.

Let us be less about persecuting others and judging others for their differences.  It is not our place to do that.  God will judge us according to how we judge others.  In the same harshness.  

Believe that Jesus will return for his people.  And pray that God finds you doing that which is good on the earth on that day.  Do it now before it's too late.  For we fight not against flesh and bone but spirits and principalities.
